Sadly, it's not about the band. It is about dragons, though.
Ye Olde Hollywood Reporter brought news of Legendary acquiring Martin Helgeland's script, SLAYER, the tale of a doctor who finds out his late, estranged father was also a hunter of dragons. Naturally, the young man takes up the mantle.
Helgeland is taking up a mantle himself, as his father Brian Helgeland won an Academy Award for his work on L.A. CONFIDENTIAL. He did not win, however, for his work on the awesome 976-EVIL.
No word on if the dragons will be Blood, Frost, Ancient or Elder.
