It seems when news about one Hitchcock biopic hits, the other isn't far behind. Head below for the first look at Toby Jones as Hitchcock in THE BIRDS-centric, THE GIRL, and a casting update on ALFRED HITCHCOCK AND THE MAKING OF PSYCHO.

The Daily Mail premiered the below image of Toby Jones and Sienna Miller as Alfred Hitchcock and Tippi Hedren, respectively, in the BBC film THE GIRL. Both pictures are concerned with moments in the iconic director's life, and THE GIRL aims to tell of his obsession with BIRDS star Hedren.

Hedren told the publication, "‘I am thrilled Sienna is playing me. She is terrific for the part. If I have one reservation about the film it is that I worry they will not portray me as as strong a character as I was – and still am. I had to be extremely strong to fight off Mr Hitchcock. He was so insistent and obsessive but I was an extremely strong young woman and there is no way he was going to get the better of me."

RED RIDING: 1974 director Julian Jarrold is helming.

Meanwhile, Deadline reports that ALFRED HITCHCOCK AND THE MAKING OF PSYCHO has cast Jessica Biel in the role of real life actress Vera Miles. Miles, of course, played Lila Crane, sister to Janet Leigh's Marion Crane in the classic film. THE MAKING OF PSYCHO, which revolves around exactly that, co-stars Anthony Hopkins (as Hitchcock), Helen Mirren (as Alma Reville) and Scarlett Johannson (as Janet Leigh). Sacha Gervasi directs.
