The new, darker incarnation of THE MUNSTERS has begun to take shape.
TV Line is reporting that Eddie Izzard is just about on board to be the new Grandpa Sam Dracula in NBC's upcoming MUNSTERS hourlong, retitled MOCKINGBIRD LANE.
The series, whose pilot is to be directed by Bryan Singer, is said to be a visually enticing, new take on the story that sees the family relocate to their famous titular address following an animal attack provoked by young Eddie Munster's puberty-driven transformations.
