Amy Heckerling (FAST TIMES AT RIDGEMONT HIGH) recently reteamed with her CLUELESS star Alicia Silverstone for a vampire-centric romp, and it's finally showing its fangs in April.

Screening (and it looks like world premiering) in its director's cut as part of a Lena Dunham*-curated series at BAM (who, as their Andrzej Zulawski retro wraps up, is killing it lately), the film will play Saturday, April 7 at 6:50 p.m., with a Q&A with Heckerling to follow.

Co-starring Krysten Ritter, Sigourney Weaver and Malcolm McDowell, VAMPS is described as: "BFFs and vampire gal pals Goody (Silverstone) and Stacy (Ritter) have partied their way through New York nightlife and must now decide whether true love is worth the cost of eternal youth. Silverstone brings a poignancy to her role as a 19th-century girl finding her way in 21st-century life."

Also playing the series are 35mm screenings of both David Lynch's MULHOLLAND DR. and the endlessly watchable, teen Wicca party THE CRAFT. You can find all of the screening and ticket info here

*Lena Dunham's HBO series GIRLS premieres Sunday, April 15 and while clearly not horror, I caught the first three episodes at SXSW, and it is great.
