The cast of Fede Alvarez's remake of Sam Raimi's classic is filling out.
CLOVERFIELD's Jessica Lucas and Elizabeth Blackmore, of LEGEND OF THE SEEKER, are close to cast in next year's THE EVIL DEAD, says The Hollywood Reporter. Lucas and Blackmore will co-star alongside lead Jane Levy, DEADGIRL's Shiloh Fernandez and Lou Taylor Pucci (CARRIERS) in the update, about Mia (Levy), her brother David (Fernandez) and a group of friends for an intervention. There, they happen upon the Necronomicon and well, you know.
Lucas would play Mia's best friend, a nurse. EVIL DEAD is currently expected to hit April 2013.
