The first of two planned additional CABIN FEVER films has infected a director.
Heat Vision reports that Kaare Andrews (ALTITUDE) will helm the upcoming prequel to Eli Roth's 2002 flesh eating virus flick entitled CABIN FEVER: PATIENT ZERO.
Written by Jake Wade Wall, of AMUSEMENT and the HITCHER remake, PATIENT ZERO sees the flesheating virus strike the passengers of a Caribbean cruise ship after it collides with an abandoned research vessel. This will lead into CABIN FEVER: OUTBREAK, set on a tropical island, where much to the inhabitants' chagrin, it's not the flu.
Additionally, Shock Till You Drop unearthed some early sales art for PATIENT ZERO.
