Lily Collins' exit didn't knock the EVIL DEAD remake down.
Deadline is reporting that Jane Levy, of ABC's SUBURGATORY is now taking on the role of Mia in the upcoming re-do of Sam Raimi's classic. Mia, essentially the film's new Ash, takes to the cabin, alongside her brother David (Shiloh Fernandez) and a group of friends for an intervention. There, they happen upon the Necronomicon and well, you know.
EVIL DEAD is expected to be out April 12, 2013. Director Fede Alvarez tweeted this picture from set just yesterday, calling it "the path to hell."
