Can you handle more of that terrifying dancing ghost boy? I can't.

INSIDIOUS team James Wan and Leigh Whannell are returning to bring us a sequel to last year's very excellent haunted house flick, INSIDIOUS, says Variety. 

There's no word on plot, or if the sequel will pick up on the story of Rose Byrne and Patrick Wilson's married couple whose son falls into a coma, with a plethora of lost souls vying for his body, but the film is looking to get into production this year. 

Whannell said, "I believe that James Wan and I achieved what we set out to do -- create a horror film for horror fans. So it is with great excitement that we announce our commitment to a second installment of this story. Both of us feel that we can mine more terror from the world we created and know that if we assemble every member of the original team, we will have an amazing continuation of the story for fans of the first film."

INSIDIOUS was a huge hit for the duo who created SAW, despite being surprisingly a bit divisive among the horror community. I remain a huge admirer of its approach, and thought it pulled off old-school haunting chills beautifully.
