The SURVEILLANCE director will return to serial-killing territory with her next project, A FALL FROM GRACE.
The Hollywood Reporter brought word of Lynch helming the film from a script she co-wrote with Eric Wilkinson. A FALL FROM GRACE follows a detective down the Missippi River as he follows a murderer who sets his victims ablaze.
Lynch told the site, “It has been an incredible process, writing this piece. I’m not sure what demons of my own I may have been exorcising, or if I simply felt more challenged by such a darkness. But I truly feel something intense and different was at work here.”
Her latest, RABBIT, about a serial killer and the young boy he keeps captive, is expected to hit later this year.
