92Y Tribeca, who just earlier this month treated genre fans to 35mm screenings of Fulci's HOUSE BY THE CEMETERY and Alex Winter's FREAKED, has announced a real treat for NY-area cinemaniacs. In celebrating its 20th anniversary, the organization is holding two screenings of David Lynch's TWIN PEAKS: FIRE WALK WITH ME.
A prequel detailing the last days of Laura Palmer's life, the film (from what I remember) only ups the bizarre and takes even darker turns. Its reception was none-too-pleasant upon release in 1992, but time has shown it's something real remarkable, and if you're an admirer of Lynch or TWIN PEAKS, you shouldn't miss out.
You can pick up tickets for either Fri, Feb 24, or Sat, Feb 25 right here (both start at 7:30 p.m.)!
