There's a more dramatic reinterpretation of THE MUNSTERS heading our way next fall, and some more plot points have seeped on out.

Moviehole got their hands on the script for the pilot (to be directed by THE USUAL SUSPECTS' Bryan Singer), adding character breakdowns and some new details to this previously revealed crunch: " "Grandpa Sam Dracula is essentially Dracula who assembled Herman because no man was good enough for his daughter Lily, a sexy vamp. Lily’s niece, Marilyn the freak, is actually normal and Lily and Herman’s only child, Eddie, has his werewolf tendencies surface in puberty, forcing the family to relocate to their famous 1313 Mockingbird Lane address."

As the site tells it, the new MUNSTERS will be heavily focused on Eddie and his budding wolfdom, as he forces the family to move after his Boy Scout troop is mysteriously attacked by a "baby bear."

Interesting beats from the breakdowns include Herman being "more of a stud," who "loves too much" for his mechanical heart, and Grandpa recalling the ‘Grandpa’ from THE LOST BOYS mixed with Lestat.
