Don Coscarelli's (PHANTASM, BUBBA HO-TEP) adaptation of David Wong's psychadelic horror tale is set to bow at one of the world's leading fests.

Sundance announced today that JOHN DIES AT THE END will have its world premiere in the Park City at Midnight section of the festival. The flick stars Chase Williamson, Rob Mayes, Paul Giamatti, Clancy Brown, Glynn Turman and tells of "Soy Sauce - a drug that allows users to drift across time and dimensions. But some who come back are no longer human. Can John and David stop the oncoming horror? No. They can't"

I haven't read its source material, but the trailer gives off a wild vibe that makes me just want to wait for the film anyway.
