Rejoice! The incredible Brian De Palma (DRESSED TO KILL, CARRIE) is currently prepping PASSION, a new murderous thriller with two gorgeous possible leading ladies that he anticipates will be a "spell binding cinematic experience".

PASSION, a remake of the French film CRIME d'AMOUR (LOVE CRIME), will see De Palma both write and direct (something some of his best works share) the story of "a woman who turns murderous when her boss who steals her idea." Apparently, Rachel McAdams is currently looking to come aboard, alongside Noomi Rapace (THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO, PROMETHEUS) with a March start in mind, Indiewire reports.

It's been entirely too long since we've seen the De Palma we know and love (not since 2002's FEMME FATALE), a notion he apparently agrees with, having said “Not since DRESSED TO KILL, have I had a chance to combine eroticism, suspense, mystery and murder into one spell-binding cinematic experience. I can’t wait.”
