What do actress Marisa Tomei, actor Samuel L. Jackson and filmmakers Matt Stone and Trey Parker all have in common? They all got their start in films released by Troma, which over the course of 35 years has carved a name for itself as a purveyor of twisted independent cinema. And tonight, the company celebrates that legacy in LA.

The bash takes place at the New Beverly Cinema (7165 West Beverly Boulevard) starting at 6 pm. In attendance will be Troma president Lloyd Kaufman, frequent Troma actor and adult-film legend Ron Jeremy, POULTRYGEIST writer/producer/editor Gabe Friedman and co-star Allyson Sereboff, along with Count Smokula, chicken zombies and, of course, the Toxic Avenger himself. The celebration will also include screenings of the Tromatic classics THE TOXIC AVENGER and POLTRYGEIST in lavish 35mm prints, showing at 7:30 and 9:30 p.m. respectively. Tickets can be purchased at the theater before either flick.
