ELIZABETH director Shekhar Kapur is set to take on Martin Amis' 1989 murder mystery LONDON FIELDS.
The Hollywood Reporter brought news of the adaptation, produced by Chris Hanley (AMERICAN PSYCHO, THE KILLER INSIDE ME). The film concerns the story of a psychic named Nicola Six who surmises that one of two new male acquaintances will murder her, as told by a dying American writer.
Written in the late 80's, the novel was apparently set at "the end of the millenium," painting such as an immoral and fairly brutal time. Curious to see how they adapt that aspect.
