The truth is out there, and I want to believe it: 30 DAYS OF NIGHT and THE X-FILES are colliding in a new Wildstorm comic.
Wildstorm announced that 30 DAYS’ co-creator Steve Niles and Tool guitarist Adam Jones are writing the six-issue series, with art by Tom Mandrake.
When evidence of a possible cannibal killer in Wainright, Alaska grabs the attention of the FBI, Agents Mulder and Scully draw the less-than-glamorous assignment. But all is not as it seems once the agents are on the ground. Not only has the long seasonal darkness begun to fall, but there's something unnatural about a few of the locals. And what does a chilling, mysterious black ship have to do with the murders?
Wildstorm and IDW are co-publishing the series. The 32-page first issue will retail for $3.99 and go on sale July 14.
