PARANORMAN, the upcoming animated zombie feature from the producers of the terrific CORALINE has unleashed a teaser poster.

Co-directed by Sam Fell (THE TALE OF DESPERAUX) and Chris Butler (storyboard work on CORALINE and CORPSE BRIDE), from a script by Butler, the film sees "Norman, a boy who is able to speak with the dead, have to take on zombies, ghosts, witches and, worst of all, grown-ups, to save his town from a centuries-old curse." Yahoo debuted the poster.

CORALINE was the first animated film in a long while to really capture my imagination. Hopefully this is more in that vein, versus Tim Burton-lite.

PARANORMAN features the voices of LET ME IN's Kodi-Smit McPhee, Casey Affleck and Anna Kendrick. It hits Aug 17, 2012.
