Fango got ahold of the complete specs and cover art for a pair of anticipated fright features coming on DVD and Blu-ray from E1 Entertainment. William Malone’s PARASOMNIA, starring Jeffrey Combs (pictured), streets July 13, and Fruit Chan’s DON’T LOOK UP, featuring Eli Roth in its cast, hits July 27.

In PARASOMNIA, Cherilyn Wilson plays a young woman who spends her life in an almost constant sleep state, which allows a serial killer with hypnotic abilities to invade her dreams. The discs will contain anamorphic widescreen transfers with 5.1 Surround sound on the DVD and DTS-HD Master Audio on the Blu-ray, accompanied on both by:

• Audio commentary by Malone

• Making-of featurette

• Deleted scenes

• Cast/crew interviews

• Photo gallery

DON’T LOOK UP, the English-language debut of DUMPLINGS/THREE…EXTREME’s Chan, is a remake of Hideo Nakata’s 1996 feature and centers on a film crew that encounters evil spirits while they themselves are in the midst of redoing a horror film that turns out to have a curse on it. Henry Thomas, Kevin Corrigan, Daniela Sea, Lothaire Bluteau, Zelda Williams and Reshard Strik also star. This one will also be in anamorphic widescreen (1.78:1) on both discs, with 5.1 Surround on the DVD and DTS-HD Master Audio on the Blu-ray, and no special features currently scheduled. Retail price is $24.98 for all four discs. Look for a story on PARASOMNIA in Fango #295, on sale in June.
