The long-gestating adaptation of Kevin Grevioux's graphic novel about Frankenstein's monster in our world is coming to life.
Lionsgate announced today that Stuart Beattie (director of TOMORROW, WHEN THE WAR BEGAN & writer of PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN and 30 DAYS OF NIGHT) will helm, with THE DARK KNIGHT's Aaron Eckhart set to star as Adam Frankenstein. The tale sees the iconic monster living in the modern world, having survived thanks to a "genetic quirk" and caught between two feuding clans.
