APOLLO 18 and PRIEST scripter Cory Goodman is penning the supernaturally inclined, missing daughter film, BLACKPINE.
Deadline reports that Goodman is writing after Strange Weather Films picked up the pitch. The film sees a soldier departing Afghanistan for his titular hometown where his 12 year-old daughter soon disappears and his search uncovers a secret/conspiracy/supernatural twist/what have you. Lest his credits worry you, it seems Goodman recently had a screenplay entitled THE LAST WITCH HUNTER on the acclaimed Black List. There's hope, yet!
