Ben Wheatley, who's so far given us the fantastic KILL LIST and DOWN TERRACE, has officially begun production on his third feature, SIGHTSEERS.
Screen Daily reports that SIGHTSEERS commenced shooting today, with writers Steve Oram and Alice Lowe also starring. The film sees a couple's road trip to several British landmarks go off the rails. IMDb's synopsis describes it in these wonderfully simple terms, "Two crazy people go on vacation together."
Backing the film is Film4 and Big Talk, as well as SHAUN OF THE DEAD director Edgar Wright (the latter two also produced ATTACK THE BLOCK). Can't wait!
