Comic-Con just got a lot more exciting.
EW is reporting the breaking news that the legendary Francis Ford Coppola is bringing clips and music from his new film, TWIXT (formerly TWIXT NOW AND SUNRISE) to San Diego Comic Con. On July 23, in Hall H, Coppola and musician Dan Deacon who scored the film will present scenes and some of the music live from the mysterious film.
Largely an enigma, TWIXT has been described by its director as "part Gothic Romance, part personal film and part Halloween show," is set to mix 3D into dream sequences, and stars Val Kilmer, SUPER 8's Elle Fanning and Bruce Dern. Here's the official synopsis:
"A writer with a declining career arrives in a small town as part of his book tour and gets caught up in a murder mystery involving a young girl. That night in a dream, he is approached by a mysterious young ghost named V. He’s unsure of her connection to the murder in the town, but is grateful for the story being handed to him. Ultimately he is led to the truth of the story, surprised to find that the ending has more to do with his own life than he could ever have anticipated."
