The filmmaker behind the fantastic ORPHAN has signed on help usher a new film from the filmmaker behind the fantastic KIDNAPPED.
Variety reports that Jaume Collet-Serra's (ORPHAN, UNKOWN) Ombra Films is producing WELCOME TO HARMONY, the upcoming feature from KIDNAPPED director Miguel Angel Vivas. Set to be an English language film, WELCOME TO HARMONY sees three survivors in a post-apocalyptic environment, ravaged by an plague that turns its victims into "beasts."
It's great to see these two work together. Both have exciting instincts and talent; plus Serra's ORPHAN was one of my favorite recent horror films, and one of the weirder ones to come out of a studio. So it's easy to imagine he won't have Vivas pulling any punches.
Also producting is Vaca Films of Spain, and France's La Ferme.
