We first told you back here about an upcoming chiller from 28 WEEKS LATER director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo called INTRUDERS. Now more details have been announced, including the film’s leading men.
Variety reports that Clive Owen (pictured) and Daniel Brühl (a European star recently seen in INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS) will topline the movie, which is about an 11-year-old girl facing down childhood demons. Scripted by Jaime Marques and Nico Casariego, INTRUDERS is being produced by WEEKS producer/co-writer Enrique López Lavigne and Belen Atienza of Apaches Entertainment, which is also behind the new fantasy/thriller VERBO (which we reported on earlier today). Production begins in June, with the film set to lens on London and Madrid locations; Universal will handle international distribution.
