Writer/director Greg Lamberson gave Fango the first peek at the trailer for SLIME CITY MASSACRE, his sequel to his 1988 feature SLIME CITY that’s dripping with bodily fluids of assorted colors. Give it a look after the jump.
SLIME CITY MASSACRE takes place after a dirty bomb attack on New York City, with an evacuated portion known as “Slime City” inhabited only by squatters, killers and assorted lowlifes. In this milieu, two couples discover a cache of a strange elixir that, when they drink it, turns them oozing and carnally and homicidally crazed. Jennifer Bihl, Kealan Patrick Burke, Debbie Rochon and Lee Perkins star, with appearances by original SLIME stars Robert C. Sabin and Mary Bogle (nee Mary Huner) as well as STREET TRASH writer/producer Roy Frumkes and Troma honcho Lloyd Kaufman.
Lamberson recently hosted the film’s premiere screening in NYC, and tells Fango, “We’re just starting to shop it around now. I’m hoping to make a mark on the festival circuit, because I want as many fans as possible to see it on a big screen, and as you know, the horror fest season really doesn’t begin until summer. Our first date will be at a small event called Reel Renegades Film Festival 2010, which will be held June 5 in Norman, Oklahoma.” You can read more about the movie at Lamberson’s official website here.
