THE SKIN I LIVE IN stars Antonio Banderas and FRAGILE’s Elena Anaya. Based on Thierry Jonquet’s novel TARANTULA, the movie involves a plastic surgeon who avenges his daughter’s rape. That seems to be only one piece of the weird picture Almodovar is painting here, however, and I can’t wait.
The film just premiered at Cannes to expectedly exciting buzz. Check out the first clip/teaser and the poster below. Sony Pictures Classics release THE SKIN I LIVE IN this November.
