Matthew C. Dumond, writer/director of the psycho-horror feature THE ID PROXY, got in touch to let Fango know about an upcoming supernatural flick on which he’s serving as associate producer; he also passed on the advance poster. NEXT DOOR is a ghost story that will co-star veteran genre actress Lynn Lowry (pictured).

Set to roll May 1, NEXT DOOR will be directed by Andrew Sawyer from a screenplay by Allison Lahikainen, based on a story by the duo. The story centers on Anna, a New Yorker who wins a bid on a long-abandoned house in a small Maine town. When she moves into the place, she finds out why it was abandoned: It’s haunted, and she also learns frightening truths about her new neighbors as well. The cast additionally includes Christina Rondano, Sal Lizard (also the movie’s executive producer), Nicole Kruex and V. Nigel Taylor (who will compose the film’s score).
