Two more of the pre-STAKE LAND webisodes have debuted,
including one directed by Danielle Harris.
Opening this Friday in limited release, the really excellent film is seeing its major characters set up through a series of shorts helmed by Glass Eye Pix family members such as Glenn McQuaid, Graham Reznick and Larry Fessenden. Today’s bits chart the tales of Willie (Sean Nelson), STAKE LAND’s soldier wandering aimlessly through the decimated country and Jebediah, its religious fanatic of a villain. Both are Apple exclusives and can be seen by heading right here.
Glass Eye head honcho Fessenden took on JEBEDIAH, while
actress and genre favorite Harris (who really does some of her best work in
STAKE LAND) directed WILLIE.
The film itself stars writer Nick Damici, Harris, GOSSIP GIRL’s Connor Paolo, Kelly McGillis and Nelson as survivors of a bloodsucker plague making their way across a ravaged America, confronting not just the thirsty undead but religious extremists along the way.
