Polarizing filmmaker Rob Zombie has taken to his blog and released the first image from LORDS OF SALEM!

While the film isn't in full-fledged production just yet, Zombie has revealed this teaser of what seems to be a mask with old-fashioned punishment functionality (an introduction to the film is apparently set in 1692, so it could pop up there). He accompanied the art with these words "Here it is! The first image from the film THE LORDS OF SALEM and that's all I will say. Okay, I will say that the scene that involves this face is very painful."

It’s exciting that Zombie’s getting back to his own thing as THE DEVIL’S REJECTS is something fierce. LORDS OF SALEM sees the titular Massachussetts town besieged by a 300 year-old coven.
