Thanks to IFC Midnight, Jorge Michel Grau’s excellent Mexican cannibal drama, WE ARE WHAT WE ARE, is currently playing select theaters and starting tomorrow, hits On Demand everywhere. In anticipation for its VOD premiere, three clips (which you can see below) have been released.
WE ARE WHAT WE ARE sees a family thrown into shambles when the father dies and his wife and children are left wondering how they can continue their cannibalistic way of life. The three clips highlight come great facets of the film, including its grisly nature and intense family dynamics.
WE ARE WHAT WE ARE is very much worth your time, so keep an eye out for its small screen debut, or if you’re in NYC, head over to the IFC Center and give it a look. You can read my review of the film right here.
