No matter the genre or tale, Pedro Almodovar is always a director worth watching. Luckily for us, his next film is an off-kilter revenge story he’ll be lending his lush visuals and serious style to. Head below for the first art of THE SKIN THAT I INHABIT.
The poster was picked up by El Pais, and brought to our attention by IndieWire. The film stars Antonio Banderas and Elena Anaya (FRAGILE), and concerns a plastic surgeon avenging his daughter’s rape. THE SKIN THAT I INHABIT is based on Thierry Jonquet’s novel, TARANTULA, and has already secured U.S. distribution via Sony Pictures Classics, but remains so far, undated. You can see the first still from the film right here.
