You may know him as the “Second Chess Player” in AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON, but the veteran British comedian who is better known as the writer-actor on the ’80s British TV comedy THE YOUNG ONES has just joined Eron Sheean’s “psychological thriller” ERRORS OF THE HUMAN BODY.

Screen Daily reports that the film has just started shooting in Dresden. The story centers on a scientist with a tragic past who works on a human regeneration project in the hopes of finding redemption. In addition to Mayall, the cast includes Michael Eklund, Karoline Herfurth and Tomas Lemarquis. By the way, Sheean also co-wrote Xavier Gens’ upcoming SXSW world premiere THE DIVIDE.
