Oh man, not another Exorcism mov— oh, wait, Jeff Bridges is involved?
Just Jared is reporting that Bridges (of TRUE GRIT and just generally being amazing fame) has come aboard THE SEVENTH SON, in which he'll play an exorcist. The film will also star Alex Pettyfer (the upcoming I AM NUMBER FOUR) and current Academy Award nominee Jennifer Lawrence (WINTER'S BONE).
It's a period (!) film set in the 1700's that sees Pettyfer's character, Tom Ward as an exorcist in training. Lawrence will essay a suspected witch. The film is based on Joseph Delaney's LAST APPRENTICE young adult novels.
1700's? Possible witchcraft? Exorcism? Jeff Bridges' beard? This could be an excellent time.
