“The fans who waited in the snow, rain and cold for the midnight launch of BIOSHOCK 2 have spoken and their message is that Rapture still has many fascinating stories to tell,” said 2K Games president Christoph Hartmann.

2K has answered this call for more with the Sinclair Solutions Test Pack, now available at the Windows-LIVE and Xbox LIVE Marketplaces (400 MS Points) and the Sony PlayStation Network ($4.99). This DLC gives players a chance to expand their multiplayer experiences as they run rampant through the dark days leading to Rapture’s collapse. Players can now increase their rank to Level 50 with Rank Rewards, experience 20 new trials and hide their deformed faces with five new Splicer masks. Also, if Jacob, Barbara, Buck, Danny, Suresh and Naledi didn’t quite capture the image of your dystopian self, two new characters are added to the mix: Louie McGraff, a hardened criminal who looks like the Hamburglar minus the slouch hat, and Oscar Claraca, a cosmetics tycoon who resembles a darker-skinned Hugh Hefner. Along with the Splicer masks, Louie and Oscar can enjoy a third upgrade for each weapon in the game.

Look for more DLC for BIOSHOCK 2 in the coming months from 2K, including extensions of the single-player experience. BIOSHOCK 2 is available for Windows PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
