Dark Sky Films sent along a couple of advance on-set photos from HYPOTHERMIA, the literal chiller it’s producing in conjunction with Larry Fessenden’s Glass Eye Pix. See them after the jump.

The movie, which just wrapped on upstate New York locations, including Sacadanga Lake in Mayfield, NY (and just as a major blizzard has socked the region), is the latest from writer/director James Felix McKenney (top photo) of AUTOMATONS and the upcoming SATAN HATES YOU. Michael Rooker, Blanche Baker, Greg Finley, Don Wood, Ben Forster and Amy Chang star in the story of Maine vacationers who are confronted by a creature that has been preying on fish in the lake and has become hungry for humans. The monster is played by Asa Liebmann, wearing a suit created by DIARY OF THE DEAD’s Chris Bridges, and Brian Spears did the gore FX. Fessenden, Peter Phok and Brent Kunkle of Glass Eye produced HYPOTHERMIA with Dark Sky’s Derek Curl and Jacob Jaffke.
