Considering his connection with the FINAL DESTINATION films, it’s only appropriate that David R. Ellis (who helmed FINAL DESTINATION 2 and THE FINAL DESTINATION) is now attached to direct BAD LUCK. 

MovieHole.net reported that Ellis, who also directed SNAKES ON A PLANE and CELLULAR, is involved in several potential projects. First up will be SHARK NIGHT 3-D, which starts shooting this summer. Ellis—who is attached to the adaptation of the graphic novel WAR MONKEYS—also announced that he is slated to direct BAD LUCK, which will star RESIDENT EVIL’s Milla Jovovich. Based on a David Schow (THE CROW) script, the movie is about a group of friends who find their lives changed when superstitions that they don’t believe in begin coming true.
