Syfy has unveiled its first promo clip for HAVEN, the new series based on Stephen King’s novella THE COLORADO KID. While it looks more fantastical than horror-oriented (and seems an awful lot like the channel’s EUREKA), it is King-inspired, so spend 30 seconds checking it out and deciding for yourself.
Sci Fi Wire posted the preview for the show, which stars Emily Rose as FBI agent Audrey Parker, who arrives in Haven, Maine to solve the murder of a local ex-con and ends up discovering the small town to be a longtime refuge for people with a remarkable range of supernatural abilities. The series premieres Friday, July 9, at 10 p.m. (ET/PT).
