The FIREFLY actor (who can also be seen in the upcoming TUCKER & DALE VS. EVIL, which is now playing the festival circuit and due at Montreal’s Fantasia this summer) has signed on to star in writer/director Chris Gabriel’s zombie comedy.
Shock Til You Drop announced the casting. Tudyk will be playing Rock Brannigan, the leader of a group of zombie hunters in a postapocalyptic Southwest. The actor will be joined by fellow squad members Arron Shiver and Jennifer Skyler along with genre vets Malcolm McDowell (Rob Zombie’s HALLOWEEN) as Rex Necro, Sid Haig (THE DEVIL’S REJECTS) as Pa Jericho and John Kassir (voice of the Crypt Keeper) as Burke.
