Release details have been revealed for BEST WORST MOVIE, the documentary on TROLL 2, its cast/creators and its cult legacy by Michael Paul Stephenson, who starred in the memorably strange/awful Italian flick at age 10. The nationwide rollout via Area23A begins with an opening-night event at Austin, TX’s Alamo Drafthouse.

Fango heard from producers Tracey Melton and Nikki Taylor Melton (who’s also the young actress that played the creature in Marc Selz’s SATANIC PANIC) about their excitement to announce their next project, the psychological thriller SOUL + MATES, to be written and directed by Omar McClinton.

REPO MEN director Miguel Sapochnik and co-writer Eric Garcia recently gave interviews to FANGORIA about their experience making the long-in-development project, which Universal released this past Friday. The movie didn’t make a big dent at the box office, finishing fourth over the weekend and bringing in a disappointing $6.15 million. However, REPO MEN fans might be interested to learn that Garcia has posted “The Telltale Pancreas”—his short story that inspired both his novel and the feature film—on his website.

The long-mooted SCREAM 4 has now been officially greenlighted, and the stars who made it through all three of the previous features will be back. Dimension Films has also settled on a release date for the latest in Wes Craven’s slasher saga.
