Well, May is here and the warm weather is upon us in most of America. It also means that we have a new FANGORIA'S DREADTIME STORIES episode for you to stream for FREE or purchase via download, commercial free with extended scenes for only $1.99. This month's episode is titled "The Dark Enforcer" and your host into the macabre, as always, is Malcolm McDowell. The story is by one of my favorite writers, Barry Richert, and tells the tale of timid comic store owner Dave Chersky who is sick and tired of being bulled.

Dave summons his favorite comic book character, The Dark Enforcer, and commands the demonic behemoth to slaughter his tormentors. When Dave is forced to face the severity of his actions, he discontinues his vengeful rampage -- but it may be too late to restrain the bloodlust of his monstrous minion. Here's a cast picture taken at Cerny American Creative:

Barry Richert (writer), Jeff Morrow (The Dark Enforcer & Rodrigo), Kurt Naebig (Dan), Lisa Wolf (Gwendolyn), Jim McCance (Announcer & Nick Monaghan), Gary Tiedeman (Doug), T.J. Jagadowski (Dave Chersky), Carl Amari (Director & Marty).

I hope you enjoyed last month's episode "A Heated Premonition" which was based on the 1910 short story "August Heat" by British author W.F. Harvey (1885-1937). It's the story of a sketch artist who writes down the events of his remarkable - and very hot - August day. After sketching an enormously fat man on trial for murder, he begins walking through town and ends up meeting the very man he'd sketched.

Last week I received an email from a listener and fellow filmmaker named Jeremy Mosst who plans to shoot a short film on "August Heat." I think it would make a great short film and I told him I'd do what I can to spread the word. Here's Jeremy's website.

Don't forget that "The Dark Enforcer" is yours to stream free the entire month of May. If you'd like to own it commercial free with extended scenes, please digitally-download it for only $1.99. For those of you who are unfamiliar with this radio series - here's the scoop:
