Exclusive first look: New SATAN HATES YOU trailer

News - Indie Frights

SATANHATESYOUTRAILERTHUMBWriter/director James Felix McKenney and producer Larry Fessenden premiered a new trailer for their latest collaboration SATAN HATES YOU at our Weekend of Horrors convention a few days ago, and now we’ve got it for you as an on-line exclusive. Check out the preview for this homage to Christian scare films, a co-production between Fessenden’s Glass Eye Pix and McKenney’s MonsterPants Movies, below.

SATAN HATES YOU stars McKenney’s frequent collaborators Don Wood and Christine Spencer, along with a slew of familiar genre faces including PHANTASM faves Angus Scrimm and Reggie Bannister, the original HILLS HAVE EYES’ Michael Berryman, FANGO RADIO’s Debbie Rochon and Fessenden himself. You can see the movie’s official site here and its MySpace page here, and look for lots more Fango coverage of Glass Eye’s many upcoming fright features in the near future.

I found this very funny. The trailer I mean - not seen the film. I doubt I'll go to see it though.

"killerlemur", you summed it up PERFECTLY! Everything you said is true. I don't usually post on websites because of all the infantile behavior, but I made an exception when I read the first negative rant and your positive post.

That "let's just have more of the same stuff over and over again" attitude is why we have 5 "Saw" movies and only re-makes and sequels that nobody asked for in the theaters. It's exactly why mainstream horror sucks, there's nothing different, nothing new.
Low budget indie horror has alway been the blood and guts of this genre and will continue to be for years to come. If glass eye is the "slum", then that's where I want to be. I'll be watching "I Sell the Dead" , "The Roost" AND "Satan Hates You" while you guys wish for another remake or sequel with Sarah Michelle Gellar in it.

""Slumming it?"" have you seen any of Glass Eye Pix / Scare Flix other stuff? These guys are the cutting edge of independent genre film.

Awww! Man. What happened to Horror? It makes me weep to see Angus and Reggie doing it for the pay check here. I agree with the other comment. For God's sake Don, make an effort to pull together one last Phantasm. At least let these guys go out doing what they love. I feel the same way about this tosh as i do about Troma. Real Horror fans wouldn't even get out of bed to rent this sh*te! At the very least Angus and Reg need to do something that's more in their league.

Looks like all the budget went to the "name" actors.

I can't wait to see this movie.

Sorry ""Fallen Legends""...the Phantasm stuff has been bleed to death and the actors are aging. This new generation of movie-making is exciting and clever. Embrace it. Director James McKinney has got his act together.

cool song sounds like judas priest..phantasm's music sucked, maybe angus and reggie are choosing movies by good music and awesome flashing devil symbols...look forward to checking this one out...

I like seeing Angus and Reggie in stuff like this! It shows they have a sense of humor and are still open to taking risks and working with new filmmakers. This film looks completely bizarre! Can't wait to see it.

It's really a shame to see people like Angus Scrimm and Reggie Bannister slumming it in stuff like this. At least this trailer is a step up from some of their recent work, but I just don't have any faith in this stuff anymore. Give me a new Phantasm. Now that would be something I could appreciate.
