Very cool.. I was hoping for some giallo stuff, but there's lots of other things to check out. Cool pics too.

Thanks!

Re: Cool Ass Cinema.com

According to that quote attributed to me "reviews are mostly plot synopsis that could have been culled from any movie catalog or IMDB, with an occasional(very occasional) personal aside thrown in." I stand by that alleged quote.

Re: Cool Ass Cinema.com

It seems obvious from that comment that you never got beyond the home page(other than the article i hear that you pinched with typo's intact!).

Take for example the extensive MY BLOODY VALENTINE review (very relevant here) where the brief synopsis only accounts for the first paragraph.

I'm sure we'd all be intriguied if you could back up your "culling" insinuation with evidence as more often than not i can find scant information elsewhere on the net about many of these rare films that he writes about.

Supercool, thanks..!

I've got over a dozen of them I haven't even opened yet, stuff like THE DESIGNATED VICTIM and the Italian dvd of WHAT HAVE THEY DONE TO SOLANGE? which I was told was a major improvement over the Shriek Show disc from a few years ago.

I've been going insane for gialli since like Nov./Dec., and have bought/ordered several dozen titles, with many more
on the list to get. Bootleg sellers really fill in those availability gaps nicely(!) The ones who make transfer dvd-rs
from Euro dvds and laser discs are my faves - their product is usually of pristine quality. I guess the total right now
is about 75, with many more coming..

I've gotten about 5 books on gialli (including an Italian one written in Italian), and they have helped me figure out
which to get first, later, and maybe never..(!)

I don't have that many, around 30 maybe a few more. I bought most of mine from xploited. They're pricey, but if it's out on legit dvd, I'd rather have the original. Although I would like to obtain both GIALLO IN VENICE and KILLER RESERVED NINE SEATS as I don't think there's a legit release for either of these right now on dvd.

I watched NINE SEATS recently and really liked it. It seems that despite the rep, there really is no blueprint
for them. Seems they're all a little different.

Which version did you see? Apparently there's several different one's out there.

This site is awesome Venom!
You should write reviews for shitty movies putting your obviously acerbic wit to good use.

How do you know about the anecdotes you mention?
