Re: Troma is CRAP..

Poultrygeist may just very well be the last 'old-school gore' movies that we ever get to see. With the cheapness of digital FX, (and with Lloyd's inability to pay for them) this movie is a huge throw-back to the late 80's/ early 90's-era  of physical effects. It's funny, it's stupid, it's borderline retarded. So it's Troma!
To be honest, I think this may just be the last movie Troma releases. But it's a good way to go out.

Re: Troma is CRAP..

Troma is the last of its kind, and that's all due to Lloyd.  When Troma is gone, the filmworld is going to be a sadder place.  No, even the best Troma flick is kinda turdy and shows its seams, but that's the joy of it.  When you plop (and I do mean plop) down your cash for a Troma flick, you know what you're getting, and no matter how craptacular it is, I never feel like a schmuck giving Lloyd my spare change.  I'd rather give him my twenty bucks to buy some tranny hookers for the Mrs than throw the cash at the cast of Ocean's 14 or whatever.

At least I'm sure Lloyd will put that money into the next movie.
Considering most people had their retirement money tied up in banks and stocks that failed he probably made one of the smartest moves he could putting it into his movie.

I agree  Cheesy I mean come on, the man used his retirement money for Poultrygeist!

Was he serious when he said that?!? Damn. That's dedication..

Viva Lloyd!!
