Dismissing Hostel, Saw & Martyrs because they're movies about people being tortured is the same thing as dismissing Scream, I Know What You Did Last Summer and John Carpenter's Halloween because they're movies about teenagers getting stalked and killed.

If you weren't dismissing these films by referring to them as "torture porn," fine, but that's how it's typically used.
There are no shortage of lists of people's favorite vampire, zombie, slasher and even gore films, but I've never seen anyone use "torture porn" in any context other than dismissing a film that was too violent for someone's delicate sensibilities.
