What are you looking for in a Fango comic?
I'm just curious what everyone has as a top list of what you look for in a comic in general, in a Fango comic specifically? Personally I need good art, usually in a style that to me matches the story.  I don't like a cartoony style in something dramatic or horrific.  It pulls me out of the story like a bad actor or horrible special effects. I like interesting stories with some big ideas but mostly I like a good pacing for the dramatic.

Good art that suits the subject matter is a must, but I believe that the characters are the most important part. If you have characters an audience believe to be uninteresting, the story will fall apart.

I would like to see something with as much substance as Cerebus The Aardvark and it wouldn't hurt if the comic had the same ability to piss people off as Cerebus did.

I'm a big fan of early (pre Kevin Eastman) Heavy Metal and the infamous 1984. Something that pushes the edge, and isn't afraid to slaughter some politically correct cows will be assured to get me subscribing

I would like to see subject matter and storytelling styles that movies can't/won't approach. The great thing about comics is they don't cost too much to produce, so what might be a risky venture in another medium isn't such a role of the dice. Therefore, Fango might be able to put out a alien-space-babes-fighting-zombies-on-the-moon-with-a-narrative-from-the-point-of-view-of-a-Stephen-Colbert-esque-stowaway comic. Hmm? Maybe?

I think Marvel may have cornered the market on Colbert, but we definitely have some interesting concepts in the works.

I like a good art the flows good with a good story to back it up an some good characters that flow with the story, something scary with lots of horror screams an terrors art sytle I like more of a Bernie Wrightson style but theres a few cartoon styles that i like such as The Living Corpse Comic & XOmbie & Rotting Hill cartoon there pretty funny
