About ELLIUM and what to expect...
Ellium tells the story of a group of people determined to save the world, whether we want them to or not...
Ellium will start off as individual peices, slowly building into a larger cast of characters and a central story. The first two issues (BLOOD RED SNOW) are a murder mystery delving into the inner psyche of one of our more damaged characters and her partner. The third issue (DIAMOND MINE) expands our view of who the ELLIUM are, and shows their actions on a global scale while also introducing Riel, a manipulative succubus with a hidden agenda.
- These three issues are in the bag and will go up once Fangoria gives the word.
Issues 4 and 5 (SWORDPLAY) bring us into the overall story and introduce the main opposition to the Ellium goal of saving the world - the Plato Continuum.
- Both issues are being colored right now as we speak.
Issue 6 and 7 (The Ties That Bind) I'm finishing up the art to right now and I can't reaveal much now because events in 6 and 7 are a direct result of actions taking place in issues 4 and 5. Characters die, mysteries are revealed and more questions are asked, and the blood begins to flow...
Ellium will NOT be the typical horror you might expect. There will be gore, but the real horror will be a steady build. There are CREATURES in the dark, but like any predator, they won't be seen until the time is right - when the tension is at it's peak, that's when they strike.
So I hope you'll enjoy the ride on this psychological thriller as it builds into full-blown horror!
Sincerely,
Jason Moser
