A mere 12 minutes ago, Producer Brad Fuller checked in via Twitter with the news that production on Platinum Dunes reboot of A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET has officially wrapped. "Just wrapped- sad. This was a fun movie to make." he remarked to his Twitter followers. Lensing on the film began in early May with shooting locations in and around Chicago, Illinois and Gary, Indiana.
With a rumored Comic-Con reveal of the new Freddy Krueger, Fuller dropped a few last photos from the set including Rooney Mara, Kyle Gallner, and direct Samuel Bayer.
A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET (2010) is set for an April 2010 release. The film stars Jackie Earle Haley (WATCHMEN, BAD NEWS BEARS) in the role of Freddy Krueger, taking over the glove from Robert Englund. The genre-centric cast also includes Kellan Lutz (THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON,) Rooney Mara (URBAN LEGENDS: BLOODY MARY), Kyle Gallner (JENNIFER's BODY), Thomas Dekker (LAID TO REST, SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES), Katie Cassidy, (TAKEN, SUPERNATURAL), Clancy Brown (THE BURROWERS), and Connie Britton. Samuel Bayer is at the helm, from a screenplay by Wesley Strick and Eric Heisserer, based on the original story by Wes Craven.

also looks like they have a bad case of insomnia no sleep i guess it's a good thing because ina nightmare on elm street film it pays not to sleep otherwise you die in your dreams
