FANGORIA Readers in the Chicago area have yet another chance to appear in the New Line/Platinum Dunes remake of A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET.The production is currently seeking REAL Police officers, firefighters, paramedics, baristas, bookstore clerks, and "press types". They're also seeking some less-specific types to work as non-speaking extras/background performers for scenes shooting around June 22 and July 1st.
We've got the full details below, and please remember that these are paid positions and that being selected as an extra is a "job". Please be professional, and don't act like an ass on set. We'd love to see some Fango Readers make it into the film, and speaking from experience - Joan and her crew are top-notch.

Give it up "me"... recreating a classic film like NOES is probably just as challenging as making something completely new. Only time will tell if they did it successfully. MANY of us NOES fans want to see Freddy brought back to the big screen and PD is doing that.

UGH! I'm so jealous! I was 5 seconds on my way to emailing my info to this --- until I read --- *We are only able to consider local Chicago/Suburban area people for this shoot. *. That sucks!
LOL! Shouldn't they be shooting this in Los Angeles anyways!? I'd love to be an extra on this movie! Come on guys, you can make exceptions right!? LOL!
Have fun all you lucky people on that set!
