*UPDATED* 2nd Full Trailer for Rob Zombie's HALLOWEEN II

HALLOWEEN IIUpdated: In addition to the trailer below, Yahoo! Movies has an alternate version with additional footage, and a different opening. Click here to view!

Apparently last night there was some form of general awards show on SPIKE TV that I wasn't aware of until one of our regular scoopers sent me a YouTube link for a new H2 trailer that ran within. It was a bootleg version, shot directly from the TV screen, and the video quality was pretty poor.

Not 10 minutes later, a higher-rez copy also showed up in my inbox, and now we've got it for you below.

I consider this trailer to be pretty spoiler-heavy, so consider that a warning if you're attempting to stay "spoiler-free" (which in that case, why are you reading this?).

Be sure to pick up a copy of FANGORIA #285 (shipping now) for some exclusive H2 coverage, and for even more HALLOWEEN II - check out our HALLOWEEN FRANCHISE section right here!

Wow, you guys are harsh, lol. Zombie's got his own artistic vision, like it or not. At least he's keeping the genre alive, and kickin. I do tend to agree on the comments abt his wife though. I loved her as Baby, but she seems mis-placed in the Halloween movies. Don't agree w/t them replacing Daeg either. We'll see how this movie plays out...

Only Rob Zombie would think of a way to put his no talent hack of a wife in the sequel even after she died in the movie before. It's apparent that she has to be in every single thing Rob does.I know it has to be the only way she gets any work at all since her acting is that of elementary play preportions. LOL. Michael Myers looks like Nick Nolte in "Down And Out In Beverly Hills in this movie" What a complete laughing stock this movie will be.

I can agree with that! The whole Ronnie/Ms. Myers has a stripper took so much away from the story and here we go again with with Rob using his wife as a ghost/dream or whatever.

About the remake bit, I had the chance of meeting with Tobe Hooper in a seminar at Fango WOH in NYC. Great experience by the way. I asked how he felt about the whole remake craze that seems to be happening, especially considering he is in a unique position of having his work remade (TCM '74) and done a remake (Toolbox Murders) himself. He said that ultimately, it doesn't matter if it's a remake or an original if the story sucks. The story has to be there, or else there's no point. and if its a remake, the story can't be the same, it has to be new. or else, again what's the point. My problem with Zombie's remake is that the story just sucks.......

From that night on, he retreats into his mind, He grows to become a monster worse than his parents, but like them in that way, life is ironic. Until he gets out and he lashes out at the world in the only way he knows how, On Halloween Night with a big knife. Michael isn't a person. He is the Boogeyman. That Jason, would be my Halloween.

My remake would retain that sense of Michael myers being evil because....He's evil. Rob made up this whole origin and it's just so redneck, I hate it. The mom is a stripper, The dad is pill popping, alcohol swilling beast with a hard on for the slutty teenage daughter. It's so stupid! Now if you want an origin, I'd make the family absolutely normal.... in public. Then behind closed doors, the veil comes down. Dad is a control freak with a hard on for the pretty cheerleader daughter with insecurity issues. Mom is a OCD nutjob herself and whenever little Michael acts like any other kid Mom and Dad make him pay for it dearly. Nothing is ever good enough. Got a b+ in Math, unacceptable! Got 3rd honors, unacceptable! Michael would be the slave, until one night, Halloween, he snaps and takes out the whole family.

Jason - you say you'd rather have something "new and fresh" for Myers? Would you also prefer something "new and fresh" for the likes of Jason Voorhees and Freddy Kruger, ditching their iconic hockey-masks and knife-gloves for something else? How about Jason growing a massive beard, because it would somehow be more "realistic" for him to be unshaven out there in the woods? I've seen one or two people saying it's more "realistic" that Myers would be dressed in grubby layers like a homeless bum and have a beard, but I don't recall anyone mentioning any such thing until Zombie decided it would be "fresh". Thirty years of 'Halloween' movies and not a single person ever suggested "Hey, it would be so much more realistic - and new and fresh - if Mike had a huge beard and dressed like a bum"? Similarly, I've never heard anyone express an interest in Jason ditching the hockey-mask and growing a huge beard, or Freddy getting rid of his stab...

Nick - if you could remake Halloween, what your ideal remake be? I'm a huge fan of the first two original Halloweens and have been skeptic of Robs remake and this one but honestly I'd much rather see something new and fresh than the same old Michael in a clean white mask living under his house fighting Busta Rhymes.....either way the two Halloween films are way better than the remakes being pumped out that are all glossy looking with MTV actors such as Prom Night and those other bull remakes......To be honest nobody should ever remake a classic because it can't be made any better but oh well.

Montrealer2009, that's easily the DUMBEST complaint about a horror movie I've ever heard!! It's a horror movie!! There's supposed to be lots of screaming!! Hell the original movie had Jamie Lee Curtis scream for the last fifteen minutes! Then again, there's more greatness in the original then Rob's two Halloween movies combined. Zombie's Halloween is atrocious and H2 looks even worse. Hobo Michael Myers? He flipped over a car? WTF is this!? And the sad part is I like Rob, I thought the Devil's Rejects was awesome! He needs to leave the franchise alone and work solely on his own material.

Not enough hobos, dead moms, profanity or rape - Rob must be saving those for when it's too late for audiences to ask for their money back.

of course the movie looks (and will be) GREAT..the only thing I find annoying, just as I did in the last HALLOWEEN (Zombie's version), way too much screaming...
